About Ryan, blogger and web developer

I am the author of this blog. I have spent the past five years exploring the varying depths of the web, and a good deal of that time freelancing and/or working full time with web development agencies. My primary weapon of choice is WordPress, but I have also worked with Expression Engine as a CMS. I am a strong believer in valid code, forward/backward compatibility, and using new platforms for exciting things.

Most notably, I have written a good deal for Copyblogger, I have been featured at ProBlogger, and have spent some time writing for Daily Blog Tips, as well as numerous others.

In addition to this blog, I have managed a blog all about WordPress called Theme Playground, a blog exploring content management systems called Platform Pub, and a blog called Front Ending all about web development techniques.

In my spare time, I attend a University called Huntington, pursuing a double major in Philosophy and Biblical Studies. I also hope to complete a minor in Biblical Languages.
